WORKSHOPS

Newfoundland's West Coast Con offers a wide variety of workshops aimed at all ages.  It is our goal to bring more exposure to many different aspects of science fiction, horror, anime, fantasy and adventure based genres we all love and enjoy.

A highlight of the convention includes question and answer periods with our invited guests and actors.  This gives you the opportunity to find out what it's like to be involved as some of the main characters that have entertained us through the years!  (Don't forget to pick up your autographed pictures - a once in a lifetime opportunity!)

Throughout our convention many concurrent workshops are offered on a variety of topics including:

  • Makeup Effects
  • Star Trek
  • Star Wars
  • Transformers
  • Anime
  • Illustration
  • Fictional Writing
  • Costume Making
  • Acting
  • Horror
  • Fantasy

Many of these sessions are interactive and require audience participation.  Workshops are generally offered in multiple time slots enabling you to get the most out of Newfoundland's West Coast Con.

Throughout Newfoundland's West Coast Con we also offer a variety of fan favourite activities such as JeoparGeek and our Cantina Talent Show.
